One knock, every pet seen

Three carriers, two car trips, a scratched arm and a missed appointment: clinic logistics multiply per animal. A mobile vet charges the travel once and works through the household on one visit. It's the multi-pet cheat code.

How the pricing works

The call-out is charged once per visit, not per pet. The first pet pays the standard consult; each additional pet is typically discounted $50 to $80. By the third animal, the home visit usually beats the cost of separate clinic trips, before counting fuel, time off work, and the sanity of not wrangling three animals through a car park. Numbers by state in the cost guide.

What a household visit looks like

Annual vaccinations for everyone in one sitting; the old dog's arthritis review while the kitten gets her first shots; nail trims all round; the shy cat examined last, once she's seen nothing bad happen to the others. Vets sequence the animals by temperament (confident first, worriers after), and pets visibly settle watching a housemate be handled calmly.

Keeping everyone's records straight

Each animal gets its own consult record and vaccination certificate, exactly as at a clinic. It's worth keeping the whole household with one provider: patterns across animals (fleas, diet issues, a contagious sniffle) get caught faster by a vet who sees the group.

Common questions

Is there a limit to how many pets per visit?

Practically, time: mention the headcount when booking so the vet allows a long enough slot. Four or five animals in a visit is unremarkable.

Can different species share the visit?

Yes. Dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets in one household are all seen on the same call, provided the vet treats those species (mention them in your enquiry).

What about a whole litter?

Litter checks and first vaccinations at home are a favourite use-case: no puppy has to leave the nest, and mum stays calm.

Get a whole-household quote

List your animals in the enquiry and vets will quote the full visit. Most will beat the sum of clinic consults from the second pet.
