Information, not advice

Everything on this site is general information about veterinary services and costs in Australia. It is not veterinary, medical, legal or financial advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a registered veterinarian about your animal. Prices shown are researched ranges, not quotes; the fee you pay a vet is set by that vet.

The referral service

When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to home-visit vets who cover your area. We are a referral and directory service only: we are not a party to any arrangement between you and a vet, we don't supply veterinary services, and we make no guarantee that any vet will respond, be available, or charge any particular fee. Vets listed or receiving enquiries are independent businesses responsible for their own registration, insurance and conduct.

Emergencies

This site and its referral service are not for emergencies. If your animal needs urgent care, contact an emergency veterinary clinic immediately.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded), we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on this site or from the acts or omissions of independent vets you engage. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.

Content and fair use

Site content is ours (or licensed) and may not be scraped or republished commercially without permission. Quoting brief passages with a link is fine.
