Privacy policy
Updated August 2026
Mobile Vet Help ("we", "us") collects as little personal information as we can while doing our job: connecting pet owners with home-visit vets. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Enquiry details. When you submit an enquiry, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email if provided, suburb and postcode, your pet's details, and your message. Technical context (the page you enquired from, and general browser information) is captured alongside to help route and de-spam enquiries.
Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) that record page views without cookies and without building individual profiles. We do not use advertising trackers.
How enquiry details are used
Enquiries are passed to home-visit vets who cover your suburb so they can contact you about the service you asked for. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell personal information, we do not add you to marketing lists, and vets receiving your enquiry are expected to use it only to respond to it.
Storage and security
Enquiry data is transmitted encrypted and stored on secured infrastructure, retained only as long as needed to operate the referral service and meet legal obligations.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: contact us and we'll action it promptly.
Third parties
We share enquiry details with the vets relevant to your enquiry, and use service providers (hosting, analytics, enquiry handling) to operate the site. We don't otherwise disclose personal information unless required by law.
Questions or complaints
Contact us first — we take privacy seriously and respond quickly. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
